Neilson Street Guestbook

Brian,

Nice thought, but it will never be the same. I to grew up there when it was a great place. I was a teenager in the 60's there and I really enjoyed my youth. From going to Holy Innocents to North Catholic then the service. The mentality that has become so pervasive is like a cancer rapidly spreading. Until you get the majority of people that live on the social payroll and the drug mentality gang, that is how it will remain.

I wan to thank all of those involved in creating these pages dedicated to Juniata Park. I am one of the fortunate ones to have been born and raised there. It is my prayer that our neighborhood can get back to the days we all knew. I peaceful place to raise your children without fear.

There will be 2 benefits for Tom Rymal and his family in February. I've added a link under Current Events with information to both of these events. One event is a Super Bowl party in Avalon, NJ. The other is a concert in Narberth, PA.

Sadly, I've missed Frank F. as a barkeep since he hung-up his apron a few years ago. Always loved his contrarian views on just about every subject under the sun. We stayed in touch by phone & text ... and I would call or message him just to rile him up and get his reaction. He did come out a number of times with Leo, Kingy, Nicky & myself and his wisecracking subversive humor was always a hoot. We always had a second-hand Seinfeld communication code for side laughs. I found him to be just a genuinely funny person. I wish we could play one more Sinatra on the jukebox and have one more cold Miller Lite before we close-up the "J"st once last time 'ol friend; but, alas, we won't have that chance. He was missed at the Leo Christmas Scam and I will miss his sardonic wit for the duration of the run. "Hear, hear, Frank. F.!!!"
