Comments: It seems so quiet here. I know there are some Juniata pages on Facebook, but I wish people would still talk about things here. Anyway, a big Happy Birthday on this day to several people from Juniata Park.

Comments: Many a fond memory of Juniata. Moved to NJ in '79. Have bragged to my wife about how much fun it was to grow up on a block that had 20 plus kids playing in the driveway. Playing tackle football without pads on the Kraft foods lawn on Erie Ave., stickball at the "mill" on K Street or the GE parking lot, street hockey on Pike Street, pony, little, big league baseball, snowball fights with the oldhead, touch football. Wanted to bring my wife and to 8 year old son over and walk thru the old neighborhood but realized I'd have to be armed for protection and "habla espanol". Even sadder is to read about the crime that is occurring in Juniata. It was, without a doubt, a great place to live.
