Nickname: "Bomber", "B.O.M.B.O"
Contrary to some, I did not get the name from getting bombed every weekend (even though Freck and I got a case every Fri and Sat). It was at Piccoli basketball courts. The older guys (Jimmy Dougherty, Stymie, Mike Dugan, etc.) would come up and start a game. One time they had 9 guys and let me play but I never got a pass. So any time I got a loose ball I would fire it from anywhere. After making a couple in a row Jimmy Doc (a contributor to this site) would yell "Give it to the mad bomber!!"
I'm happily single living on Algon St by Cottman. I've been working at the Post Office for 23 years.
