Nickname: "Lefty", "Lefty D"
This was my grandfather's (Herb French) nickname. The orignal Lefty was also a Neilson Streeter. My grandfather would always go to watch my brothers play rough touch at Piccoli. One year they won the championship and brought him a jacket that said Lefty on it. Unfortunately, a fews years later my grandfather passed away. Not willing to throw away a good jacket, I decided to start wearing it. The rest, as they say, is history. Years later when people asked me why they called me Lefty, Franny Vogelman would always say "Because he's not right!!!". Since that was a lot easier than explaining the whole grandfather story I would always use that line when people asked me.
I currently live in Mayfair with my wife Coleen and 3 kids (Carolan 10, Luke 7, Jack 2). I work with computers for a construction company in Glenside. My main hobby as of January 2002 has been Neilsonst.com......
